Eravikulam National Park
This is one of the most captivating destinations in Munnar where one can see the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and other rare species of animals, birds and butterflies. Anamudi
Located inside the Eravikulam National Park is the highest peak in South India, Anamudi, standing tall at 2695m of height. The entry to this place is restricted however you can enjoy the view from a distance. Treks are allowed with permission from the authorities only.
Chinnakanal and Anayirangal
This place near Munnar is well known for its waterfalls which are also popularly known as Power House Waterfalls. The scenic beauty of this place gets a tint more beautiful with the enticing view of the Western Ghat ranges. About 7 kilometers from Chinnakanal is Anayirangal. Anayirangal is surrounded by evergreen forests and tea plantations are largely seen in this area.
Rajamala
It is a tourism area in the Eravikulum National park where you can get a good view of the Nilgiri Tahr. Not only it is the natural habitat of the Tahr, it is also one of the most loved places of the tourists.

It is where the first Hydro- electric project of Kerala was established. Also it is one of the favorite tourist picnic spots.
