One day the well got dried. So one person started digging up the well. He was stunned to see blood coming out of the well and the blood started flowing continuously. When the three handicapped persons touched the water mixed with blood, unpredictably they became normal persons. The moment the villagers came to know about this marvel, they horded to the well and tried to deepen the well further. After digging for a time they found a statue of Lord Sri Vinayaka in the well with a wound on the head with blood. They could not take out the statue as it was growing in size, as they were digging. They found swayambhu idol (the self-manifested) of Lord Vinayaka emerging from the swirling waters. People broke thousands of Coconuts and started worshiping the god with other pooja materials.
